Mario Guerrero is the Government Affairs Director for Equality California. Previously, he was Deputy Director of Policy and Research at the Coalition for Clean Air, a statewide environmental policy advocacy organization in California. His other professional experience includes BIENESTAR Human Services, Inc. where, as Director or Public Affairs, he focused on policy, advocacy, communications, organizing, and development work on HIV/AIDS, LGBT, and related issues. Additionally, he worked for the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) Educational Fund where he focused on constituency services. Guerrero is a veteran of the United State Marine Corps. He received his Master’s Degree in Public Administration with a focus on government, politics, and policy from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish with a minor in Computer Information Systems from the University of La Verne.
