Sue Lee Troutman is a California transplant to New York City, where she has been living and working since 2002. She has over 10 years of broad-ranging development experience, specializing in major and planned gifts. She has worked for various social justice causes, including civil rights, women’s human rights, and mental disability rights – among others – and now, LGBT equality. She joined the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force in December 2010.

Prior to beginning her career as a fundraiser, Sue Lee was studying for a Ph.D. in political science at UCLA. She holds a bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley and master’s degrees from Columbia University and UCLA. In her free time, she can be found testing out vegan recipes or watching European football.
