WASHINGTON, Sept. 20 —"Yesterday it was deep cuts to the food stamp program, today it's defunding Obamacare. This House leadership appears hellbent on attacking the most vulnerable people in our nation, the poor — millions of whom are lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender. Most of us were brought up to believe that it's morally wrong to kick a person when they are down — and it is morally appalling to kick millions of people when they are facing economic hardship," said Rea Carey, Task Force Executive Director.
