No government social programs recognize or support the families lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people build.
- Social Security, Medicaid, and pension policies must change to treat same-sex relationships equally to opposite-sex relationships.
- Additonally, general services available to seniors must expand to include lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender seniors.
